Brazil and the United Kingdom Energy is a project that focuses primarily on the organization, exchange and dissemination of information on energy sources developed in Brazil and the UK. The project was designed by a partnership between the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation - MCTI and the British Government. It has the support of the Brazilian Institute for Information in Science and Technology - IBICT. This initiative is contemplated between the actions of the Technical Cooperation Agreement on Science and Technology signed between the Brazilian and British Government in 1997 and the Joint Declaration on cooperation in ST & I, signed in 2011.
The platform aims to provide specific information about courses and programs developed in the British and Brazilian universities in the following areas: renewable energy; Non-renewable energy; Bioenergy and biofuels; Energy efficiency and technology, among others which can be accessed by students, researchers and Brazilian experts also encouraging without Frontiers Science Program.
